2008 Membership Drive

The STC is seeking support for our activities in 2008, including a major conference of food and energy issues. Now it is time for you to help us undertake more exciting activities over the next year by renewing your membership. Local initiatives for sustainable travel- 11 Oct

Workplaces, schools and residential communities in the UK have used travel plans to reduce car traffic and promote healthy travel options. Local authorities have played a significant role in supporting travel plans over the last six or so years. This seminar is organised by the TravelSmart unit at DPI and is an opportunity to hear from Professor John Whitelegg about the UK experience and discuss what it could mean for sustainable travel initiatives in Perth workplaces and communitie
